Itinerary
Day 01
Arrive Kochi – Munnar approx. 135kms 4 hours’ drive
Our services begins with arrival at Kochi Airport. Upon arrival, meet and greet our representative and transfer to Munnar by road. Munnar is the Tea County of Kerala. Enroute enjoy the scenic beauty of tea plantations, Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Also, en-route have some astounding views at the Karadippara view point. Upon arrival, check in at the resort of stay for your overnight stay.
Day 02
Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, leave for a sightseeing tour of Munnar, where you proceed to the Kundala dam where en-route you visit the tea plantations, the Mattupetty dam, Echo point, Photo point, Kundala Dam and Rose Garden. Visit Eravikulam National Park, Tea Museum and factory, Hydel Park. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 03
Munnar – Thekkady approx. 100kms 3 hours’ drive
After breakfast transfer to Thekkady the Cardamom hills of Kerala a beauty point in the Western Ghats. On the way visits Spice Plantations and Elephant Park. Then visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and Optional Boating. Evening go for Kathakali or Kalaripayattu shows. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 04
Thekkady – Kovalam approx. 220kms 5 hours’ drive
After breakfast drive to Kovalam. Kovalam Beach lies stretched out on the Malabar Coast, along the shoreline of a small town called Kovalam. Rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the beach. Overnight stay in Kovalam
Day 05
Trivandrum Sightseeing
After breakfast visits Sree Padmanabha Temple, Zoo, Palace and Museum. Then transfer to Poovar and Optional boating. Rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the beach. Overnight stay in Kovalam
Day 06
Kovalam – Allepey approx. 160kms 4 hours’ drive
After breakfast drive to Alleppey along the backwaters to board a houseboat. Alleppey is known for its unique houseboat where you get the chance to see the backwater life is close proximity. Today you are going to stay on board the houseboat for a night. The cruise starts at 1200 hours where you cruise along narrow canals, there would be a short break for lunch which will be served on board. The cruise happens until evening and docked for the overnight stay and the dinner is served on board
Day 07
Alleppey – Kochi Sightseeing approx. 65kms 90minutes’ drive & Departure
After breakfast drive to Kochi. Visit the Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry palace, St. Francis Church and Fort Kochi beach where we can see Chinese Fishing Nets.
Later transfer to airport / railway station for onward journey.
